The Beavers topped the Bears 25-12, 25-21, 26-24 to pick up a key league win and followed with a 25-10, 25-22, 25-13 victory over the Brewers.

Babson, which has won a Division III-best 28 straight matches at home, improves to 16-1 overall and is now 4-1 in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play. Coast Guard, which rallied to defeat Vassar in five sets, is now 13-5 overall and 4-2 in league play, while the Brewers dropped to 4-14 overall.

The Beavers saw Puccio and Zuloaga record eight kills apiece, junior Cassidy Witten (Honolulu, Hawaii) led all players with 15 digs and seven aces, and first-year Kelsey Hoff dished out 12 assists as the Beavers cruised past Vassar. Classmate Madison Wilson (Plano, Texas) led all players with 19 assists and fellow sophomore Claire Bialek (Brookline, Mass.) recorded a team-high 14 digs in the loss.

Babson put way 10 kills and took advantage of nine errors by the Brewers for an easy first set win. Vassar took its biggest lead of game two at 19-15 on a kill by Ehnstrom, but the Green and White responded with five straight points to go back in front 20-19 on a kill by Zuloaga. Wilson and senior Jennifer Kerbs (Sacramento, Calif.) combined on a block to put the visitors back up 21-20, but Zuloaga recorded consecutive kills and Puccio added another as the Beavers closed the frame with a 5-1 run to build a two-set advantage.

Against Coast Guard, the Brewers pushed themselves back from a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 match advantage. Despite the momentum, the Bears battled back in the fourth set to earn a tight 28-26 victory and force the fifth set.
