2019 Liberty League All-Academic Team

2019: Liberty League All-Academic selection...appeared in 87 sets for the Brewers in her sophomore season…played in 22 matches, starting one…made a team high of 381 digs for a 4.38 per set average, with a season high of 33 digs in a 3-2 victory against Lebanon Valley on November 2nd…recorded two kills and 17 service aces for a total credit of 19 points for the season…also notched 41 assists…scored a season-high four points with one kill and three aces against Muhlenberg on September 7th. 

2018: Made an impact on the Brewers squad in her first season, appearing in 53 sets … Played in 15 matches, including seven as a starter … Recorded 91 digs on the season for a 1.72 per set average … Notched nine assists … Boasted 10 service aces … Had six digs in a three-set win over Rivier on September 1 … Notched a kill with a season-high 14 digs in a five-set victory on October 13 at Swarthmore … Posted 13 digs in a three-set victory over the College of New Rochelle on October 27.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Four-year varsity player for the Brookline High School Warriors as a setter and libero...Two-time captain...Bay State Conference All-Star in 2016 and 2017...Team MVP in 2016 and 2017...Coaches award as a senior.

PERSONAL: Child of Peter Bialek and Meihuei Hu...Two sisters, Martha (13) and Maya (22)...Undecided major...Chose Vassar over Bowdoin, Bates and Tufts for the great academics, atmosphere, and the opportunity to continue playing volleyball at a competitive level.
