SOUTHHAMPTON, MA (February 3, 2018) – The Vassar women's squash team went 1-1 on Saturday at the Seven Sisters Championship hosted by Smith College.

The Brewers topped Smith in their opening match with 9-0 clean sweep of the Pioneers. With that, they advanced to the championship match against Mount Holyoke who topped Wellesley earlier in the day.

Against the Lyons, Vassar fell 2-7. Hannah Nice at No. 1 and Emma Glickman at No. 7 were the only Brewers to score a victory. Nice won in five games after dropping the second and fourth to come back for an 11-8 win in the deciding game. Glickman was also forced to play five, winning the second, fourth, and fifth game to take the win.

Vassar heads to Clinton, NY next weekend where they will face Hamilton and Colgate on Saturday, February 10.
