POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.  – The Brewers women's squash team picked up its second sweep of the weekend; going 9-0 against BU on Sunday afternoon in Kenyon Hall.
Claire Coss (Penn Valley, PA) took the first position win with a 3-0 sweep of Normandie Essig. The freshman won 11-6, 11-8 and 11-9 and is now 3-1 in the young season. Senior
Julia Pollak (San Francisco, CA) had a stellar performance in the No. 2 spot. She downed the Terriers' Cameron Adajian in three sets with scores of 11-1, 11-7 and 11-4.
Amanda Watson then swept the No. 3 by going 11-4, 11-2 and 11-7 over Rose Zhao.
Allegra von Hirschberg (Mbabane, Swaziland) picked up her second win of the season in a four-set contest. She slipped 11-9 in the second, but rallied to close out 11-9 and 11-4.
Alexa Elias (New York, NY) lost her first set 11-7 to Phoebe Oler, but won three straight to pick up her second win of the year.

Isabel Bronson (Montery, MA) and No. 7
Nicole Pihlstrom (Fort Collins, CO) picked up two more wins for Vassar. At the No. 8, freshman
Lily Hammer (Wethersfield, CT) hung tough in a 13-11 first-set win and closed out with an eventual sweep.
The Vassar women travel to Hamilton, NY next for the Colgate Round Robin on Nov. 10. Matches are set to start at 11 a.m.
