Vassar Men's Soccer Notes - New Paltz

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (September 12, 2017) – Sitting with a .500 record, the Vassar College men's soccer team will try to put another win on their resume in the non-conference portion of their schedule. The team will travel to New Paltz to face the Hawks on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Last Time Out: A late goal by Stevens Institute of Technology midfielder Daniel Aversano clinched the win for the Ducks as the Brewers dropped a 0-1 decision on Saturday evening. The game was choppy from the start with five fouls between both teams within the first 10 minutes. In the end, Vassar tallied eight fouls to Stevens Institute of Technology's 13 with possession going back and forth. Each team had chances up top but ultimately, Aversano would bury a rebounded shot in the 86th minute to capture the win.
