Gray Thurstone took the second doubles set for the Brewers winning 8-4 at one. Vassar's other two victories came in singles with wins from
Juan Felipe Laso (7-6 (3), 6-2) and from
Jamie Anderson (7-5, 7-6).
A Look at the Saints (8-7, 4-1)
St.. Lawrence comes into competition with an impressive 4-1 record in Liberty League play. The Saints' lone loss in conference play was also their most recent, a tough 9-0 shutout against Skidmore College. The Saints have fared much better on their home court, sporting a 5-2 record at Sannus. Rhonny Rosario leads the Saints coming into competition with a 7-7 singles record and a combined 13-4 record in doubles matches.
Last Meeting
The last time the Brewers battled the Saints, Vassar took a decisive 8-1 victory on the Josselyn Tennis Courts. Vassar swept doubles competition and also won No. 1-5 singles, with their only loss coming in the No. 6 singles spot.
Nick Litsky, Cooper, Felipe Laso and

Liberty League Standings
Vassar (7-13, 3-2) currently sits fourth in the Liberty League tied with Hobart College. This matchup with St. Lawrence provides the Brewers a huge opportunity to gain ground on the league's top three teams, as Vassar sits just ½ match out of third place and one match behind the second-place Saints.
Lord Laso
Juan Felipe Laso comes into play this weekend riding a three-match winning streak in singles play. Laso has also won two of his last three doubles contests with partner
Alexander Luckmann.
All-Anderson
Like
Juan Felipe Laso,
Jamie Anderson comes into this highly touted Liberty League matchup with a three-match winning streak in singles play. Anderson has also won his past six sets in singles, usually playing in the No. 5 position. Anderson also won his sole doubles contest of the year back on April 9 against Emerson College, marking the first time he has won in both doubles and singles in the same match in his career at Vassar.
Change of Face
After the Brewers dropped six straight matches in the No. 1 doubles spot,
Gray Thurstone was inserted as
Daniel Cooper's partner. The new duo picked up their first win together by a score of 8-4. Only time will tell how the move pays off, but for now the new combo seems to be working for Vassar.
