2014-15: Second Team All-Liberty League Singles…Liberty League All-Academic…finished year with 13-5 singles record and 6-14 doubles record…finished the fall season with a 2-1 record in singles…undefeated in dual matches with a record of 2-0…went 1-1 in doubles with partner Evan Udine…went 11-4 in Singles with a 5-1 record in the Liberty League in the spring…defeated Ian Ross of #39 Whittier College 6-2, 6-2 (3/18)…finished 5-11 in doubles in the spring with partners Nick Litsky (1-3), Evan Udine (0-1), Christian Phelps (1-1), and Alexander Luckmann (3-6)…ended regular season on four-match win streak.  

2013-14: Finished the season with a record of 7-7 in singles and 0-1 in doubles...was 2-2 at No. 5 singles and 4-5 at No. 6 while earning a 1-0 at No. 3...finished the season with a 4-1 Liberty League regular season dual match record.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Attended the American School of Quito.

PERSONAL: Parents are Julio Laso and Lorena Ponce...has a younger brother named Joaquin (14)...chose Vassar over St. Lawrence, Wittenberg, and Amherst...majors in psycholgy and economics...picked Vassar because, "It's a small liberal arts college where I can play tennis and get a great education."
