Box Score 2 HAMBURG, NY (March 18, 2016) – The Vassar College men's volleyball team pushed its win streak to four games with two victories Friday evening against D'Youville College and Hilbert College in a non-conference tri-match. VC knocked off D'Youville 25-16, 25-11 and 25-21, while knocking off Hilbert 25-14, 25-20 and 25-11.
Vassar 3, D'Youville 0The Brewers hit .424 for the contest, as eight different Vassar players recorded a kill in the victory. Senior
Reno Kriz led the way for the Brewers with eight terminations, adding five digs, three aces and two assisted blocks. Sophomore middle hitter
Matthew Knigge posted seven kills on 11 attempts, while
Erik Halberg and
George Diehl each added five kills apiece.

Zechariah Lee each led the squad with six digs, as Lee also posted three aces and 29 assists in the win. Sophomore
Brian Manley also had four kills for the Brewers, who posted a 35-7-66 (.424) clip for the contest. Brock Tetreault led all hitters with 10 kills for D'Youville College (. VC moved to 8-0 in neutral site matches with the win.
Vassar 3, Hilbert 0Vassar's defense held host Hilbert College to negative hitting, as the Brewers forced 18 errors while allowing just 16 kills on 90 swings in the three-set win for VC. Vassar improved its hitting in each set, posting 10, 13 and 15 kills in the three sets to roll to the non-conference victory.
Knigge led all hitters with 11 kills on 15 attempts, assisting on seven blocks, while Kriz also posted nine kills, five digs and three assisted rejections. Manley needed just eight attacks to accumulate five terminations, and
Christian Lizana and Diehl both chalked up four kills.
Lee added 31 assists, five service aces and four assisted blocks in the second win of the day for Vassar, and
Erik Halberg finished with four service aces as well. Junior captain
Trey Cimorelli added a match-best 14 digs for VC. Tyler Sieczkarek led the way with five kills for Hilbert (9-11).

The Brewers (18-5) will finish action in the Buffalo area tomorrow afternoon, taking on Medaille College at 1 p.m. in more non-conference action.
