What to Look For
The first match against Sage will be Vassar's Senior Day, where the Brewers will honor the contributions of seniors Colin White-Dzuro (Toronto, ON/Royal St. George), Artie Blissert (Midlothian, VA/Trinity Episcopal), and Luke Sobieraj (Chicago, IL/Northside College Prep). While this is a big weekend for the Brewers, the team's season will not end on Saturday. For the third time in four years, Vassar has made the UVC tournament, this year as the No. 6 seed. After this weekend, the Brewers will focus their attention on No. 7 Nazareth, who has already beaten Vassar twice this season.

A Look at the Gators (9-15, 6-8 Skyline)
Sage has had an up-and-down season this year. After dropping seven of their first nine matches, the Gators rebounded to win four of their next six, including two wins over Yeshiva. After falling twice at the Johnson & Wales Tournament, the Gators defeated Purchase in three sets, as well as Bard in four sets. Sage has struggled against the top of the Skyline, falling twice to both Ramapo and Kean, with all four matches being decided in three sets.

The Gators do not have a very deep team this year, only playing seven players all season. Sage runs much of their offense through freshman outside hitter Bailey Cecchi, who has a team-high 206 kills on 498 total swings this season. Fellow freshman Ryan Guyton and Robert Fitzpatrick follow Cecchi with 135 and 97 kills, respectively. Guyton is hitting .208 on the season, and has a team-high 36 aces. Freshman setter Tyler Bastos runs the offense, totaling 516 assists on the year. On defense, Guyton again leads the way at the net with 45 total blocks, while Fitzpatrick paces the back row with 206 digs.

Potential Starting Lineup: OH – Bailey Cecchi, OH – Robert Fitzpatrick, OH – Chris Macarthur, MH – Ryan Guyton, MH – Thaddeus Sipe, S – Tyler Bastos

Against Sage All-Time
Vassar currently leads the series 2-1. In their first meeting in 2010, Vassar won in three sets. The two teams did not play again until April 3, 2013, where Sage upset the Brewers in five games on Senior Day. Vassar got revenge for that defeat with a 3-0 victory on the Gator's home floor on February 21, 2014.

A Look at the Cardinals (14-16, 12-4 CUNYAC)
York had a slow start to the season, but has turned it on in recent weeks, especially in conference matches. After dropping their first six games of the season, the Cardinals bounced back to win five of their next seven, including five-set victories over Lehman and CCNY. York fell in several tough non-conference matches, including a three-set loss to Juniata, but followed that with six straight wins in conference play. Last week, the Cardinals fell in three sets to Baruch and Hunter, before defeating Lehman in four sets.

The Cardinals rely heavily on the outside duo of Randy Adams and Edner Geffrard, with the two taking 1229 of the team's 2356 swings on the season. Adams leads the team with 259 kills, while Geffrard is second with 239 kills. Adams leads the team with a .260 hitting percentage, and also has 49 aces on the season. Three setters have split time for York, with senior Sebastian Francois leading the way with 271 assists. At the net, freshman middle hitter Anson Webb paces the team with 103 total blocks, while Geffrard and Adams lead the defense with 183 and 144 digs, respectively.

Potential Starting Lineup: OH – Randy Adams, OH – Edner Geffrard, OH – Sebastien Francois, MH – Anson Webb, MH – Akeem George, S – Andrew Hass, DS – Androw Sollman

Against York All-Time
Vassar currently leads the series 2-0. The teams first met in 2008, with Vassar winning 3-0. After not playing for six years, the teams met on March 15, 2014 at the Johnson & Wales Tournament, with the Brewers earning the victory in four sets.

Toronto Titan
Senior captain Colin White-Dzuro has been a key player and leader since he arrived at Vassar. Over his four seasons, White-Dzuro has amassed 1184 assists, 299 digs, 87 kills on a .061 hitting percentage, 46 aces, and 46 total blocks, and will finish sixth all-time at Vassar in assists.

On Mar. 8, 2014 against Penn State-Behrend, White-Dzuro had a career-high 54 assists. The senior also recorded a career-high 12 digs against Thiel on Mar. 1, 2014, and put down a career-high 12 kills against then-No. 2 Juniata on Mar. 1, 2014.

Chi-Town's Finest
Senior opposite Luke Sobieraj has been an important contributor to many Brewer victories, despite missing his junior year due to injury. Over his three seasons, Sobieraj has totaled 104 kills on a .188 hitting percentage, 101 digs, 20 total blocks, 13 aces, and six assists.

On Mar. 17, 2013, Sobieraj put down a career-high 11 kills on a .381 hitting percentage against Endicott. The senior also had a career-high 13 digs against SUNY New Paltz on Mar. 21, 2012, and recorded a career-high six aces to go along with six kills in just one set of action against Medgar Evers on Feb. 12, 2015.

Winter Blissert
Senior opposite Artie Blissert also missed his junior season, spending the year at Dartmouth, but still has been a key player throughout his career at Vassar. Over his three seasons, Blissert has recorded 67 kills on a .069 hitting percentage, 60 digs, 18 aces, 15 blocks, and eight assists.

On Mar. 17, 2012, Blissert recorded a career-high nine kills on 23 swings, to go along with a career-high nine digs. The senior also had a career-high three blocks against Newbury on Mar. 31, 2012.

Winning!
With the win against Bard, Vassar guaranteed their 17th winning season in program history, and seventh in eight years.
