POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (February 5, 2015) – The Vassar College women's squash team will travel to Cambridge, MA this weekend to take part in the Seven Sisters Championships, hosted by Wellesley College at Harvard University. The No. 33 Brewers are coming off a Hudson Valley Team Invitational title last weekend, as Vassar College posted two emphatic wins over Fordham University and the University of Rochester.

A Look At The FieldThe Brewers will take on three teams Saturday afternoon, battling No. 24 Wellesley College, No. 28 Mount Holyoke College and No. 36 Smith College. The host Blue enter the match having lost six consecutive matches, though all six teams were ranked in the top 21 of the College Squash Association rankings. Sarah Zhang plays No. 1 for Wellesley and is 9-8 on the season, while Phyllis Lin has a team-best 12 wins.
Mount Holyoke is 4-13 on the season, posting wins against Boston College, Tufts University, and Smith twice. Sanjna Merchant leads the Lyons with five wins on the season, tying with Catherine Ryan, while Brandy Williamson plays No. 1 and is 3-13 on the year. Smith College has dropped all 13 of its matches this season, but Jacqueline Zhou has five of the team's six wins on the year.

Hannah Nice (Hanover, NH/Hanover) has led the Brewers from the No. 1 spot, as she has gone 8-1 at No. 1 and 9-3 overall on the season. Nice has won her last five and nine of her last 10.
