What To Look ForThe Brewers have already taken on the Leopards of WIT this season, falling in three games after battling No. 9 Nazareth to five games earlier in the day. The Brewers and Leopards are both currently receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 15 poll, so a victory for either team would be a nice resume builder. Vassar College will play just one more match at home over the next 30 days, so taking advantage of the home court Saturday will be important.
A Look At The Gothic Knights (3-1)New Jersey City University enters Saturday coming off a win at The College of Staten Island, as the Gothic Knights knocked off the first-year program in three games. After dropping its first match of the season at Rutgers-Newark, NJCU has rallied to earn wins in each its next three matches. The Gothic Knights have been led offensively by the pair of Andre Ghant and Sheldon Coure, who each have posted 13 terminations on the season, while Daque Wilcox and Jalen Sorrell each have 10 kills thus far.
NJCU is averaging 2.33 service aces per game, led by the four each from Tijani Rezki and Eric Maldonado. John Leon and Maldonado combine to lead the offense at the setter position, combining on 64 of the team's 75 assists, and Nick Poh leads the squad with 22 digs.
Projected Starting Lineup: Bill Le - OH, Sheldon Coure - MH, Kendall Tribbett - RS, Andre Ghant - MH, Daque Wilcox - OH, John Leon - S, Nick Poh - L.
