What To Look ForThe crowd on Saturday can definitely expect a great performance out of Vassar's No.1 and No. 2 players who have had a successful season so far. Sophomore
Hannah Nice and No.1 spot holder has only lost one match up this season, winning every other game so far this year. No. 2,
Fiona Agger has had a stand out first season in burgundy and grey, only dropping one match this year.
A Look At The Lyons (0-2)The Lyons are just kicking off their 2015-16 bid with two matches under their belts. Both were tough losses - one came in their season opener against Wellesley College where they lost their match played in Wellesley, MA 8-1. Their next competition was a match against Williams College, who hosted, and beat the Lyons 9-0.
The Lyons are a very balanced squad this year, returning 10 players with experience and welcoming four rookies to bring some freshness to the team.
Against Mount Holyoke All-TimeIn the last ten years, the Brewers have only taken one win off of the Lyons, who have had seven successful bids against Vassar. The Brewers' last win comes in 2005-06 where they beat Mount Holyoke 7-2 at Haverford College.
A Look At The Camels (2-0)The Camels of Connecticut College recently began their 2015-16 campaign with a tri-match on Nov. 22 where they won both of their competitions at Northeastern. They played and beat the hosts handily with a 9-0 sweep. They played Boston College at Harvard University where they picked up another 9-0 shutout to start their season strong.
The Camel women have a lot of fresh faces this year, with their seven underclassmen outnumbering their five returning upperclassmen.
Against Connecticut College All-TimeIn the past ten years, the Brewers have come out four of the seven times they have gone toe to toe with the Camels. Their most recent competition was in 2012, where the Brewers fell 7-2.
Good SeedsThe Vassar women's squash team is currently ranked No. 35 nationally.
