What To Look ForThe Brewers have been in a slump of sorts, having dropped their last three straight matches. Two of them came at their last competition, a tri-match hosted by Haverford College where they fell to the Black Squirrels 9-0 as well as to the Dickinson Red Devils 0-9. Back at the beginning of November the men lost to a strong NYU squash, who they hosted as their third competition of the season. Their last win was against Siena College, who the Brewers bested 9-0 on their home court in Kenyon Hall.
A Look At The Camels (0-1)The Camels of Connecticut College are just starting their 2015-16 season. They have only one match under their belts, which they played against a strong MIT team in Massachusetts where they dropped the match 9-0.
The Camels men's squash squad is very balanced this year - tempering their experience with young energy as their underclassmen and upperclassmen balance out exactly. Seven juniors and seniors will lead their seven sophomores and freshmen this year.
Against Connecticut College All-TimeThe last time the Brewers went toe to toe with the Camels was in 2012, when they lost 9-0. The Brewers have lost this match up all six times they have seen Connecticut College on their schedule in the last 10 years.
Weekly WondersSenior
Ben Kurchin and
Vincent Mencotti both have picked up Liberty League weekly honors this season. Mencotti scoring a Player of the Week distinction and Kurchin with a nomination to the weekly team.
Respect Your EldersThe VC men's squash squad this year is very experience-heavy, with a graduating class of five and a junior class of five as well. They outnumber their freshman and sophomore population of six total.
Up NextTheir next match will give them another shot to play Connecticut College on January 23 at 11 a.m. at home in Kenyon Hall.
