Box Score vs. SLUPOUGHKEEPSIE, NY (November 22, 2014) – The Vassar College women's squash team started the season with two straight wins, but couldn't keep it going Saturday afternoon, falling to William Smith College 8-1 and St. Lawrence University 9-0 in play from Kenyon Hall.
As the men's squad hosted the Liberty League Tournament for the men's teams in the conference, the women played host to a pair of league foes, though the conference does not recognize women's squash as a sponsored sport. Nonetheless, the Herons and Saints accompanied their men's sides to Poughkeepsie for a tri-vite.

Scher showed some fight at No. 4, pushing a pair of sets to the brink against SLU's Zoe Kagan before dropping a 11-8, 11-0, 13-11 decision.
Nice played Top 60 player Jill Baker at No. 1 in the final individual match played of the day, and was in the first set, narrowly falling 11-9. Baker was able to take the second set 11-4, and though Nice hit some great shots in the third set, Baker still took the match with a count of 11-8.
