What to Look For:
After one of the best starts in program history, Vassar hopes to build upon a three game winning streak in their first Liberty League double header on the road.

Last Time Out:
The Brewers came out with dominant performances earlier this month taking down both RIT (10/3) and Hobart (10/4) by a 2-0 margin.

A Look at the Golden Knights:
Coming off a narrow loss from fellow Liberty League team Skidmore, Clarkson will attempt to improve upon its 6-7-1 record when they take on the Brewers. Although 1-3-0 in league, the Golden Knights have maintained a winning record at home and will be looking to keep a hot Vassar offense at bay.

Clarkson is led by junior Marco Parisi up top, who has tallied two goals and four assists this season. With nine others recording a goal for the Golden Knights, sophomore Vassar goalkeeper Adam Warner (Tenafly, NJ/Tenafly) will have to be ready to stop a shot from anyone wearing a white and green jersey.

A Look at the Saints:
St. Lawrence enters this weekend as the No. 13 ranked team in the nation, and hold a 11-2 record (4-0 LL) so far this season. After dropping two of their first five contests, the Saints have buckled down winning eight consecutive games since September 14.

Junior Harry Copeland and sophomore Rob Brandell have been the top producers for the Saints on the offensive end, as the duo have tallied 13 points each in 13 starts. The St. Lawrence defense has been formidable, allowing only 1.00 goals per game to opponents while producing five shutouts.

Previous Encounters:
Last year when the Brewers met the Golden Knights, the VC came away with a 2-0 victory on goals from then-senior Rob Mankuyan and Tom Wiechert (San Clemente, CA/San Clemente). VC dropped a 3-0 decision to St. Lawrence at home last season on October 18.

Old Faces, New Challenges:
After moving on from Vassar at the end of last season, Clarkson head coach Chris Taylor will look upon his former team for the first time in Friday's encounter. Taylor spent two seasons as an assistant at Vassar before accepting the position of head coach for the Golden Knights.

The Best Offense is a Great Defense:
The old saying harks true with this year's Vassar squad. So far in league, the Brewers have only conceded one goal, while their backline backline has collectively scored one goal, assisted another, and created numerous scoring chances throughout the season. If VC can keep the clean sheets coming, the Brewers may be able to lock up a playoff spot early.

Make Way For the Juniors:
At the end of their previous Liberty League game, juniors Gavin Jennings (Poughkeepsie NY/Arlington), Jordan Palmer (Woodland Hills, CA/Agoura), and Cosmo Veneziale (Garden City, NY/Garden City) have created altogether a whopping seven goals and ten assists thus far. Their presence up top and in the midfield will be crucial in taking down the Golden Knights on Friday.

Looking Ahead:
The Brewers will stay up north and face league champions St. Lawrence (11-2-0) (on October 18.
