New Haven, CT (February 16, 2013) – The Vassar College women's squash team fell to Georgetown University 9-0 Saturday afternoon after dropping a 7-2 decision to William Smith College Friday, during the W. Howe Cup Team Championships at Yale University.

Sophomore Alexandra picked up a win at the No. 2 spot over William Smith's Andrea Tran (11-13, 0-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-2) while senior No. 7 Nancy Zhang defeated Erin Casey (7-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5) Friday evening.

The Brewers move to a record of 6-10 on the season. Senior No. 1 Libby Pei will next await the rescheduling of the CSA Division III Championships at Bowdoin College after tomorrow's final day of competition.

Both Pei and senior No. 4 Jill Levine won the first two sets but then gave up three straight against Georgetown. Pei fell to Chloe Fross (8-11, 8-11, 11-8, 12-10, 12-10) and Levine lost to Caroline Palmer (9-11, 7-11, 11-9, 13-11, 12-10).
