POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (January 7, 2013) – The Vassar College men's basketball team will travel to Bard College tomorrow evening to open its 2013 Liberty League schedule.

Vassar Notes: The Brewers (4-5) fell to Mount Saint Mary College 61-44 on Wednesday, December 12. Junior forward John Donnelly had the game high score with 19 points but it proved to be not enough as three Knights hit double-digit scoring in the Brewers' final game of 2012. Sophomore forward Alex Snyder pulled down the most rebounds of the game with nine.

Donnelly leads the Brewers averaging 12.3 points per game and also grabs 6.0 rebounds per game. He is third on the team in assists with 15. Snyder averages 11.6 points per game and a team-high 11.9 rebounds per game.

Vassar Next Game: The Brewers will continue their Liberty League schedule against St. Lawrence University on Friday, January 11 at 8:00 pm. St. Lawrence entered the 2012-13 fifth in the pre-season poll.

Bard Notes: The Raptors (3-6) are on a three-game losing streak. Bard recently lost to Liberty League opponents Union College 81-63 on January 5 and Skidmore College 66-56 on January 4.

Slondueh Burnette leads the Raptors averaging 14.0 points per game. All ten players who have gone to the free throw line this season have made over 50 percent of their shots. Frank Stortini leads Bard in rebounds with a 9.6 point per game average.

Bard Next Game: After tomorrow's game, Bard will travel to Clarkson University on Friday at 8:00 pm and then to St. Lawrence on Saturday at 4:00 pm.
