HAVERFORD, PA (January 26, 2013) – The Vassar College women's squash team returned to the court to defeat Haverford College 5-4 during the Haverford College Challenge, but fell to Georgetown University 8-1 Saturday afternoon.
Senior
Libby Pei won both of her matches of the day. She first defeated Georgetown's No. 1 Chloe Fross 3-2 (7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 6-11, 11-6) and then Haverford's Caroline Nightingale 3-1 (11-7, 11-9, 6-11, 14-12). “

Jane Parker said. “Enjoying the support of former teammate and captain, Kristine Bell, '11, Libby overcame a number of challenges to produce very smart, varied pace play.”
The Brewers (5-6) will next travel to South Hadley, MA for the Seven Sisters Championship hosted by Mt. Holyoke on Saturday, February 2 at noon. Haverford (2-8) will next host Franklin & Marshall and Johns Hopkins on Saturday, February 2 at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Jill Levine defeated Haverford's Alisa Strayer in a close 3-2 match (7-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-8, 12-10) while No. 5 senior
Avery Siciliano defeated Randee Johnson 3-1 (11-5, 11-3, 9-11, 11-2) to highlight some of the top performances in the Haverford win.
