POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (February 12, 2012) -- The Vassar College women's squash team was swept 9-0 by the College Squash Association No. 20 ranked Wesleyan on Saturday at Kenyon Hall.

The CSA No. 27 Brewers (4-12) host No. 23 Tufts University on Sunday at 11:30 am at Kenyon Hall. Vassar celebrated Senior Day with a ceremony honoring Katherine Cornish and captains Meg Taylor and Nina Punukollu.

Cornish showed heart to overcome 2-0 deficit with 11-6 and 11-7 wins in the third and fourth games to even the score at 2-2 against Wesleyan's Hannah Plon at the No. 8 position. Plon prevailed in the fifth set 11-7 for a 15-13, 11-4, 6-11, 7-11, 11-7 win.
