Men's Basketball Takes On Mount Saint Vincent On The Road Tonight

RIVERDALE, NY (December 4, 2012) – The Vassar College men's basketball team will travel to face Mount Saint Vincent tonight in what could prove to be an even matchup.

Vassar Notes: The Brewers (3-2) controled City College of New York for 40 minutes and behind the efforts of senior guard Jon Herzog, won 88-77 on Sunday afternoon. Herzog hit five 3-pointers and added two free throws as the game's high scorer. Sophomore forward Alex Snyder continued his double-double streak after he hit 7-14 from the floor and added two free throws for 16 points and pulled down ten rebounds. Seven of his rebounds were offensive boards. Snyder has five back-to-back double-doubles.

Snyder averages 13.2 rebounds per game and 13.4 points per game. Herzog is averaging 11.8 points per game.

Vassar Next Game: The Brewers return home for a 3:00 pm Saturday game as they host Hamilton College.

Mount St. Vincent Notes: The Dolphins (2-3, 1-1 Skyline) are coming off a huge 83-66 win over Skyline opponent St. Joseph's College on Saturday to start their three-game homestand. James Zuccaro had the game high score of 31 points. He added 11 rebounds as well.

Zuccaro averages 18.6 points per game. He is 52.2 percent for field goals and 70.8 percent from the line.

Mount St. Vincent Next Game: The Dolphins will next host Sarah Lawrence tomorrow at 7:30 pm.
