Moe Byrne had four goals to lead the Vassar College women's lacrosse team to a 14-11 victory over the University of Rochester in Liberty League action on Friday afternoon at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
Warner, who ranks second all-time in goals, teamed with Byrne on nine of Vassar's 14 goals. Senior attack Alie Morgan scored three goals to help the Brewers even their record at 7-7 overall and improve to 2-5 in league play. Senior midfielder

Marissa Reilly each had one goal apiece. Five of Vassar's goals came off free position shots. The Brewers travels to William Smith for a 2:00 pm Liberty League game on Saturday.
Liza Maizel led Rochester with three goals and one assist. The Yellowjackets dropped to 2-12 overall, 1-6 in the Liberty League and host RPI on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
The Brewers had built a commanding 13-5 lead before Rochester staged a furious rally in the last 11 minutes, outscoring Vassar, 6-1. Byrne's fourth goal of the match gave Vassar an apparent healthy cushion, 13-5, with 11:10 to play before the Yellowjackets drew within 13-10 off a goal by Maizel with 3:28 to play. Warner provided the clinching goal – her 47th goal of the season – by scoring from close range with 56 seconds to play.

Heather Kesselman played in goal for the first 30 minutes for Vassar. She faced 12 shots, made four saves, and allowed four goals. Senior
Nicole Engelhardt came on at halftime. She made seven saves in 30 minutes and allowed 10 goals.
For Rochester, Frances Cooley played the first 22:12 before leaving the game with an injury. She made three saves and allowed five goals. Sarah Skinner played the final 37:48 with three saves and nine goals against.
