HOBOKEN, NJ (April 1, 2001) – In a match of epic back and forth swings, the No. 10 seeded Vassar College men's volleyball team was eliminated from the NECVA Championships this evening by No. 7 seed Medaille 3-2 (25-14, 11-25, 24-26, 17-25, 14-16). The Brewers conclude their season with a 17-13 record.

Senior hitter Evan Fredericksen led the Brewers with 20 kills in his final match in a Vassar uniform. Junior Lucas Rathjens had 11 kills and a .435 attack percnetage. Sophomore libero Christian La Du had a team-high eight digs while sophomore setter John Konow had 41 set assists.
