Women's Squash Handed First Loss 9-0 By Amherst

Match Results

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (November 30, 2011) -- The Vassar College women's squash team's four-match winning streak ended with a 9-0 to Amherst College on Wednesday night at Kenyon Hall.

The College Squash Association (CSA) No. 22 ranked Brewers (4-1) face Connecticut College at 11:00 a.m. and Bowdoin College at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4 in the Trinity College Round Robin. The No. 15 ranked Lord Jeffs (1-0) face Harvard on the road on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Vassar won its lone game of the match at the No. 1 position as Vassar junior Libby Pei faced a 2-0 deficit against Arielle Lehman and won the third set 11-9. Lehman closed out the match in the fourth set for a 12-10, 11-5, 9-11, 11-4 win.
