Morgan's goal, her 21st of the season, provided the margin of victory on a bounding free position shot that bounced past St. Lawrence sophomore goalie Anna Marchand, but the Saints did make one final assault on goal. A point blank shot on goal by junior midfielder Katrina Knickerbocker was adeptly saved by Vassar sophomore goalie
Nicole Engelhardt with 1:14 to play, allowing the Brewers to regain possession of the ball and run out the clock.

Eaccarino, who was tough to contain on the offensive end, led the Brewers with six goals (three in each half) on a variety of nifty moves. Warner and Albert both had three goals, each coming at critical junctures. Four of Vassar's 17 goals were assisted by freshman midfielder
Elizabeth Feltch. For the Saints, Forbes had five goals, four of which came in the second half. Morse added three goals.
The Saints held a 37-27 advantage in shots, with Vassar's Engelhardt making 12 saves. St. Lawrence tender Marchand made eight stops.
