POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (February 9, 2008) -- In its last home match of the season, the Vassar College women's squash team saw impressive performances nearly across the board, defeating Connecticut College 8-1 Saturday afternoon at Kenyon Hall. Both the #1 and #2 matches were close to the end, as
Emilie Kraft defeated Cara Flynn 3-2, and
Nadia Jihad mounted an improbable comeback after losing her first two games, 9-0, to defeat Chrissie Passons 3-2. Seniors Jihad,
Courtney Burks,
Amalia Sax-Bolder, and
Stephanie Tracey all defeated their respective opponents while playing their last home matches for Vassar, which improved to 6-10 with the win.
