Junior right-hander Jonathan Hong had the best start of his season Sunday against RPI, as he held the potent Engineer lineup to just five hits and two earned runs over seven innings of work. His start helped keep the Brewers in the game, as they would eventually rally for a 4-3 win in eight innings. Hong retired the final 10 batters he faced Sunday, and struck out four RPI hitters as he needed just 85 pitches to get through seven innings. Hong leads Vassar with a 3.55 earned run average this year, working 12.2 innings thus far.
