2017: Had the fastest 100m (11.17), 200m (22.67), 4x100m relay (43.24), and 4x400m relay (3:21.70) on the team this season…had the seventh fastest 100m (11.17), the ninth fastest 200m (22.67), the third fastest 4x100m relay (43.24), and the fourth fastest 4x400m relay (3:21.70) in the entire Liberty League this season…competed in an impressive 27 events this season…placed sixth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:23.37 at the Willie Williams Classic Collegiate Opener…finished eighth in the 100m preliminaries with a time of 11.48 and finished with a time of 11.45 in the finals, placing seventh at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational…placed fourth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:29.20 at the 2017 TCNJ Invitational…placed fourth at the Silfen Track & Field Invitational 4x100m relay with a time of 45.42…placed second in the 4x100m relay, placed fifth in the 4x400m relay, placed third in the 100m preliminaries with a personal collegiate best time of 11.17, placed second in the 100m finals with a time of 11.23, and placed fourth in the 200m at the Liberty League Championships…placed second in the 4x100m with a seasonal best time of 43.24, placed fourth in the 4x400m relay, placed fifth in the 200m, and placed fourth in the 100m at the Matthew Vassar Twilight meet…ended the season strong, placing tenth in the 4x400m with a seasonal best time of 3:21.70, placing fourteenth in the 200m with a best personal collegiate time of 22.67, and placing twelfth in the 100m with a time of 11.63 all at the Oneonta Final Qualifier.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a standout on the track and football field for the Thunderbirds of Shorewood High School...competed at the State Championships in the 4x100 meter relay, the 100 meters, 200 meters and earned two letters as well...has posted a personal-best of 11.03 in the 100 meters and 22.24 in the 200 meters...helped his team to a fourth-place finish at the 3A State Championships...finished 13th at the Washington State Championships in the 100 meters, taking 11th in the 200 meters...won the Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award...also earned one letter as a defensive end on the gridiron.
PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Yohana Widman...has one sibling, Alex (15)...Physics, Mathematics and Engineering major.
