Wuenschell attributed to Vassar's 3-3 record during its spring break trip to Florida. Having played in just four of the six showings, he went 3-for-4 including two out-of-the-parkers with six RBI in Vassar's 16-7 shortened win over Franklin & Marshall. He then went 2-for-4 against Medaille College with a double, an RBI and a run tallied to his record as the Brewers won 6-3. Out of Wuenschell's 15 at-bats, he totaled seven hits, eight RBI and three runs scored.
