McCarthy arguably had the key goal in the Brewers, 12-7 win over Manhattanville College Saturday afternoon. He rushed past four defenders for a solo, game-tying goal at 5-5 with 7:13 remaining in the third quarter. McCarthy took a massive hit during the play and despite being helped off the field, remained on the sidelines until the final horn when he was swarmed by his teammates for cheers of congratulations.
