In each of the three individual events sophomore Jack Smart competed in at the UNYSCSA Championships, he recorded a top-five finish and broke a school record. Smart finished higher each day, placing fifth in the 200 IM on Friday (1:56.70), fourth in the 400 IM on Saturday (4:11.45) and capping the weekend with a second place 200 Breast performance in 2:07.61, his first career NCAA "B" provisional qualifying time and his highest career finish at the UNYSCSA. Smart set Vassar records in each of those events and also swam on the 200 Free Relay and 800 Free Relay teams that set new school records.
