At the prestigious Paul Short Invitational, the Brewers got a strong 6k race from senior Stephanie Malek, who according to head coach James McCowan “got out very well and race an assertive race.” Malek finished in a team best 22:57 (112th overall), her best ever performance at Paul Short. “She really carried the banner for us in this race,” said McCowan.
