Van Noy won both of her matches Saturday to earn a spot in the round of 16 Sunday. She bested Vasundhra Gandotra of Ramapo College 7-6, 6-1, before grinding out a three set victory vs. Morgan McNeal of St. Lawrence. After topping McNeal 6-3 in the first set, Van Noy found herself on the ropes as she was just edged in the second 6-7. She finished strong in a decisive third set, winning 10-7 to advance. Van Noy was then tripped up in her third round match Sunday, as SUNY-Geneseo's Mako Tanaka (No. 7 seed) knocked her out with a 6-2, 6-0 win.
