At the UNYSCSA Championships, Amodio contributed to nine program records and posted six top-ten finishes. Amodio set records in the 50-yard freestyle (11th, 21.62), 50-yard backstroke (24.05), 200-yard medley relay (8th, 1:38.32), 400-yard medley relay (7th, 3:34.40), 400-yard freestyle relay (8th, 3:14.66). He earned an NCAA provision B cut with a school record of 51.78 in the 100-yard backstroke. He had top-ten finishes in the 100-yard backstroke (6th, 52.88), 200-yard freestyle relay (9th, 1:27.90), and 200-yard breaststroke (9th, 2:11.59).

This is his second such award. Amodio lettered four years in swimming at Arlington High School for head coach Ron Terwilliger. He earned Section 1, Division 2 All-Conference honors for three consecutive years as a sophomore through senior. His team posted three straight undefeated seasons his sophomore through senior years.
