Senior attack Sarah Warner set a single-game record with nine goals and the Vassar College women’s lacrosse team scored 20 goals for the first time in more than a decade in registering a 20-18 victory over Farmingdale State on Monday afternoon at a chilly and breezy Weinberg Field.  Warner scored four of her five goals in the decisive second half. She was the catalyst in Vassar’s second half offensive run in which the Brewers broke free from the 12-12 halftime tie and moved comfortably ahead 20-13.  Warner was a stalwart at each end of the field, picking up a career-best 12 groundballs in her best overall peformance.
