2019: A versatile addition to the Brewers lineup, Hoppenjans played in 25 matches during his rookie season, including two as a starter … Appeared in 80 sets during that span … Recorded three kills … Finished third on the squad in assists with 259 for a 3.24 per set average … Added nine service aces with 40 digs … Recorded at least one assist in 23 matches, including 14 with 10 or more and three above 20 … Notched 23 assists in a four-set win against Emmanuel on January 26 … Breakout game came in a three-set win over Bard, notching two kills, a career and season-high 25 assists with four service aces and five digs on February 9 … Went on an 11-game run (2/21 - 3.29) in which he recorded 10 or more assists.

BEFORE VASSAR: Twice named to the All-Southwestern Preparatory Conference Team…Led Casady High School to the 2017 conference title and a conference final berth in 2018…Club team reached the 2017 USAV Boys’ Junior National finals in the 18s division…Played on the Iowa USA Volleyball select regional team.
