2019: Played in 17 sets over 12 matches, including one start, during his sophomore campaign … Recorded six kills on the season … Posted one assist and two service aces … Had five digs in 2019 … Notched two block assists … His best match of the season came in a three-set win over Bard on February 9 in which he recorded five kills for a .250 clip, adding two digs … He also added a block assist on March 30 as the Brewers shouldered a tough four-set loss to St. John Fisher.

2018: The freshman outside provided a spark off the bench whether on or off the court…played in 19 sets over ten matches for the Brewers…accumulated 21 kills and nine digs…best match was against Neumann on Jan 26 as the outside hit .600 (10-1-15) while picking up seven digs.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a three-year varsity letter winner for the Mavericks of La Costa Canyon...voted to the San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team...helped his team to the 2015 CIF Division I title...was fifth at the 2016 CIF Open Division, while taking second in 2017...played for the Seaside Volleyball Club...helped his club team to the 2015 USA Volleyball BJNC 16U Gold Medal...also led his club squad to a Bronze Medal finish in 2017 at the U18 USA Volleyball BJNC.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Lisa Olstad...great grandmother Helen Day Oskison is Vassar alumnae, Class of 1927...majoring in computer science...chose Vassar over New York University, UC-San Diego and Stevens.
