2019 Stats

2022: The senior outside hitter continued his reserve role during the 2022 season. Halberg played in nine matches playing in 17 sets where he tallied 14 kills, three assists, and five service aces. On senior day against Baruch, he had a great performance with seven kills hitting .357 and one service ace on the day. Those seven kills would be his career high in a match.

2021: The junior outside hitter continued his reserve role during the 2021 Covid-19-impacted season, playing six sets and logging one dig and one ace. 

2020: Continued his reserve roll during the 2020 season … played in nine sets across six matches … knocked in 5 kills … finding two service aces … scoring two blocks … season highlight was his eight-point performance against Bard.

2019: An outside hitter, he saw action in five matches in 2019, appearing in eight sets … Laid down five kills … Added two service aces … Collected one dig and had three block assists … Breakout contest of his rookie season came in a three-set win over Bard on February 9 as he notched four kills, two aces, a dig and a block assist over three sets played.

BEFORE VASSAR: Led Salesianum High School to three consecutive state championships…Selected as the Delaware High School State Player of the Year in 2018…Earned all-state honors all four years…Also a state champion and school record-holder in swimming…Served as captain and named team MVP in both swimming and volleyball as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Kristi…Brothers, Erik and Daniel, both played volleyball at Vassar…Majoring in English and history…Chose Vassar for its excellence in academics and athletics.
