PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed four years for the Rebels' cross country and track teams at Vestavia Hills High School...Named cross country and track captain her senior year...Earned a varsity letter all four years...Won "Rising Rebel" award as a freshman, "Most Outstanding" award as a sophomore and junior and MVP award as a senior for cross country...Earned "Most Outstanding Distance" award as a sophomore, junior and senior for track...High school personal bests of 19:29 in the 5,000 meters, 11:48 in the 3,200 meters, 5:39 in the 1,600 meters and 2:32 in the 800 meters.
PERSONAL: Parents are Beth and David '85... Chose Vassar "because I appreciated the strong sense of community I felt on campus. Vassar's size, location, and social and academic culture seemed like a perfect fit for me."
