How It Happened
- Johns Hopkins opened the scoring with a pair of early first half goals to grab a quick 2-0 lead on Friday.
- Brendan Listzwan got the Blue Jays on the board in the ninth minute when he found the back of the net with help from Connor Wilkes just over eight minutes into the contest.
- Johns Hopkins doubled its lead nearly 12 minutes later when Giulian Laudisa finished off Wilkes' second assist of the game at the 19:40 mark of the contest.
- Vassar got on the board in the 29th minute, slicing its disadvantage in half, on an unassisted tally from Torrey at 28:27.
- Trailing 2-1 at halftime, Vassar outshot Johns Hopkins 5-3 over the opening 45 minutes and took the only four corner kicks prior to the break.
- Raphan finished the first half with a single save for the Brewers.
- The two teams split 10 shots evenly in the second half, but there would be no scoring until the final minute of the contest.
- Still trailing by a goal with less than 60 second left, Raphan played a ball to the right side of the box from midfield.
