POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Vassar College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams and the Men's and Women's Track and Field squads had 11 student-athletes recognized on Tuesday afternoon with Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators.
Junior
Adam Finnimore put together a record-breaking season in 2025-26 as the junior now holds outdoor school record marks in the discus throw (35.98 meters), the shot put (12.91 meters) and the hammer throw (36.04 meters) along with the indoor school record in the weight throw at 11.72 meters.
Junior
Max Frazee earned All-Liberty League Second Team honors in cross country for the first time in his career with a 13th place finish along with adding a career-best 39th place finish at the NCAA Mideast Region Championships. Frazee also broke the indoor 3000 meters school record with a time of 8:25.04 at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University.
Sophomore
Nick MacDonald raced in both cross country and track and field this season as MacDonald finished in the top-50 in the Mideast Region in the 800 meters following his finish at the Vassar Spring Invite with a time of 1:57.89.
Junior
Sean Miller qualified for the NCAA Championships in cross country for the second straight season as he earned a career-best 56th place finish, marking the highest finish by a Vassar student-athlete since 2006. Miller finished fifth overall at the Liberty League Championships to earn All-Liberty League First Team honors followed by scoring All-Mideast Region honors after his 17th place finish at the regional meet.
Senior
Arlo Rucker closed his Brewers career in both cross country and track and field as the senior recorded a top-50 mark in the Mideast Region in the indoor 5000 meters following a time of 15:46.76 at the West Point Crowell Open. Rucker set new personal-bests this season in the 1500 meters, the 3000 meters and the 1000 meters. He also earned a 37th place finish at the Liberty League Cross Country Championships and placed in the top-75 at the NCAA Mideast Regionals.
Sophomore
Chloe Bibula earned All-Liberty League Honorable Mention status in cross country behind a 16th place finish with a time of 23:23.5 to help the Brewers to its third straight Liberty League title. Bibula also added a top-70 finish at the NCAA Mideast Regionals and ran in her first NCAA Championships, recording a top-100 finish as Vassar finished 10th nationally in cross country. Bibula recorded new personal-bests in every race during the track and field season with new career-best marks in the 800 meters, 1500 meters, mile, 3000 meters, 5000 meters and 10,000 meters.
Sophomore
Lainie D'Auria was part of the 4x100 relay outdoor Liberty League champions along with earning Honorable Mention honors in the outdoor 200 meters, outdoor 4x400 relay and the indoor 200 meters. D'Auria also earned outdoor All-Region honors in the 100 meters, 200 meters and the 4x100 relay along with the indoor 60 meters. D'Auria broke two school records of Vassar Hall of Famer Heather Ingraham '15 at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships.
Sophomore
Amanda Hanrahan became the first Vassar thrower to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships as the sophomore earned her first conference title in the hammer throw with a new school record toss of 53.30 meters. Hanrahan also holds the school records in the shot put and weight throw and collected All-Region honors in the hammer throw. Hanrahan also placed third at the Liberty League Indoor Championships in the weight throw to earn Honorable Mention honors.
Sophomore
Elizabeth Lowe helped the cross country team to its third straight Liberty League title following a 26th place finish and was part of the school record 10th place finish at the NCAA Championships. Lowe was part of the defending Distance Medley Relay Liberty League champions and also notched Honorable Mention status in the outdoor 800 meters.
Senior
Anika Mueller-Hickler finished her Vassar career strong as the senior placed a career-best fourth at the Liberty League Cross Country Championships to earn All-League First Team honors and guide the Brewers to a third conference championship. Mueller-Hickler added a 16th place finish at the Mideast Regionals to earn All-Mideast Region honors and posted a career-best 95th place finish at the NCAA Championships. Mueller-Hickler also earned her first track and field conference title in the outdoor 10,000 meters and also scored outdoor 5000 meters Honorable Mention honors.
Junior
Haley Schoenegge put together yet another historic season as she led the way for the conference championship cross country squad with a second place finish at the Liberty League Championships. She also added a fifth place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regionals to earn All-Mideast Region honors along with a 15th place finish at the NCAA Championships to earn her second straight All-American honor. Schoenegge collected her third indoor Mile national title with a new career-best time of 4:42.69 along with scoring All-American honors in the 3000 meters. Schoenegge notched her second consecutive national crown in the 1500 meters followed by an All-American citation in the 5000 meters, posting her fifth career national title and 11th All-American honor. The junior also was a six-time Liberty League Champion in the indoor and outdoor season and was named the Liberty League Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet at both the indoor and outdoor conference championship.
