Sean Miller Records Best Men's Cross Country NCAA Championship Finish Since 2006

Miller finishes 56th overall to secure best finish since Colin Sanders in 2006

Spartanburg, SC - Junior Sean Miller raced to the best finish since the 2006 season for a Vassar College Men's Cross Country student-athlete at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday morning as Miller finished 56th overall out of 291 total finishers.

Miller crossed the finish line with a time of 24:54.4 to earn the 56th place finish for the best finish since Vassar All-American Colin Sanders finishing 19th overall at the National Meet in Wilmington, Ohio in 2006.

The junior sat in 72nd position at the 5K mark before improving his spot throughout the final 3K as he posted splits of 3:15.6 and 3:11.2 in the final 2K to post the program's best finish since '06 of 56th position at Milliken Research Park.

Wisconsin La-Crosse took home the team title with 82 points while Johns Hopkins' Emmanuel Leblond earned the individual title with a blistering time of 23:35.0.
