Poughkeepsie, NY - The Vassar College Men's Track and Field team honored its senior class on Saturday afternoon at the Vassar Spring Invite at Weinberg Track as the Brewers recorded numerous fifth place finishes in the final meet before the conference championships.

Shot Put

• Junior Adam Finnimore scored a third place finish with a top toss of 12.28 meters.

Discus Throw

• Finnimore garnered an eighth place finish with a top mark of 33.17 meters.

4x100 Relay

• The quartet of sophomore Ryan Fernandes, senior Jacob Sellitti, sophomore Owen Gifford and first year Ivan Irigoyan Rojas posted a fourth place finish with a time of 45.48.

Long Jump

• Gifford earned a top-10 finish with a top leap of 5.61 meters.

1500 Meters

• Junior Max Frazee earned a second place finish and was the top Division I finisher with a time of 4:00.69 while senior Arlo Rucker notched a career-best time of 4:09.09 to finish seventh.
• First year Rafael Mellow-Bartels scored a season-best time of 4:13.94 to place 12th followed by first year Grey Fearon in the top-20 in 4:19.22.

100 Meters

• Gifford tallied a ninth place finish with a time of 11.63 while Fernandes notched a top-15 finish in 11.76.
• Sellitti recorded a 15th place mark with a time of 11.94.

Hammer Throw

• Finnimore finished his day with a fourth place finish with a throw of 31.47 meters.

800 Meters

• First year Lincoln Neiswender raced to a first place finish with a season-best time of 1:57.48 along with sophomore Nick MacDonald registering a third place finish in 1:57.89.
• First year Ethan Spritzer tallied a 17th place finish with a mark of 2:03.54.

200 Meters

• Sellitti raced to an eighth place finish with a time of 24.58.

5000 Meters

• First year Jack Brilliant posted a fifth place overall finish with a season-best tie of 15:33.10 along with classmate Jay Borland tallying a seventh place finish in 15:36.62.

4x400 Relay

• The quartet of Fernandes, MacDonald, Spritzer and Neiswender finished third overall with a time of 3:35.33.

• Vassar will head to St. Lawrence on Friday for the two-day Liberty League Outdoor Championships.
