Poughkeepsie, NY - Junior Adam Finnimore broke the school record in the shot put for his third outdoor record mark of the season as the Vassar College Men's Track and Field team competed in the two-day Red Fox River Rumble at Marist.

Friday Events

Shot Put

• Finnimore took down the previous school record of 12.22 meters set in 2023 with a new personal-best toss of 12.91 meters to earn his third outdoor school record.

Discus Throw

• Finnimore added a sixth place finish with a top throw of 31.99 meters.

Saturday Events

1500 Meters

• Senior Arlo Rucker set a new personal-best with a time of 4:12.55 to finish 17th overall followed by first year Ethan Spritzer with a season-best 4:13.89 to place in the top-20.
• First year Grey Fearon tallied a top-20 finish with a season-best mark of 4:15.89 along with first year Maslen L'Esperance crossing the finish line in 4:23.40.

400 Meters

• Sophomore Nick MacDonald registered an ninth place finish with a season-best time of 52.09 while senior Jacob Sellitti placed 12th overall in 54.68.

400 Meter Hurdles

• First year Lincoln Neiswender earned a sixth place finish with a time of 58.53.

200 Meters

• MacDonald crossed the finish line with a time of 24.09 followed by Sellitti with a mark of 24.14.

3000 Meters

• First year Jack Brilliant turned in a personal-best time of 9:14.02 for an eighth place finish along with classmate Jay Borland tallying a ninth place finish in 9:28.54.
