Troy, NY - The Vassar College Men's Track and Field team opened the two-day RPI Under the Lights Invite on Friday evening as junior Max Frazee recorded a new PR in the 1500 meters and the Brewers sit ninth overall after day one.

200 Meters

• Senior Jacob Sellitti raced to a 22nd place finish in 23.11 followed by first year Lincoln Neiswender in 25th with a time of 23.57.
• Sophomore Nick MacDonald crossed the finish line with a time of 23.97.

3000 Meters Steeplechase

• First year Jay Borland posted a fifth place finish with a time of 10:19.24.

1500 Meters

• Frazee raced to a career-best time of 3:59.27 to finish sixth overall.

5000 Meters

• First year Jack Brilliant turned in a 11th place finish with a season-best time of 15:46.19.
• Senior Arlo Rucker placed 13th overall with a time of 15:51.96 followed by first year Grey Fearon registering a time of 16:38.42.

Discus Throw

• Junior Adam Finnimore earned a 17th place with a top toss of 34.97 meters.
