Troy, NY – Vassar College sophomore Sieun Lee (Wake Forest, NC) has been named the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week in Women's Tennis it was announced Monday afternoon. The honor is the first for Lee this season and the fourth of her career.
 
Lee had a standout week for the Brewers on the West Coast, posting a 4-0 record playing at the third singles positions. Lee opened the week with a tough 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) win against #27 Sewanee and followed that up with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph against #31 Cal Tech.
 
To finish off the week, Lee cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 third singles win in the Brewers' victory over Occidental before adding a 6-1, 6-1 triumph to close out the West Coast swing at #29 Redlands on Friday.
 
Through seven decisions to start the spring, Lee holds a 5-2 record and is tied for the team lead in victories.
 
At 3-5 overall through eight spring matches, Vassar begins Liberty League play at Ithaca on March 29.
