Poughkeepsie, NY – The Vassar College Men's Tennis team posted its second straight sweep to open the spring on Saturday, cruising past visiting Nichols 7-0. The Brewers dropped just two doubles games and scored victories in each of the six singles matches.
Vassar improves to 2-0 in the early going of the spring while Nichols falls to 1-3.

Singles
- Lee moves to 2-0 at the top singles flight on Saturday after producing a 6-1, 6-3 victory. Lee's victory clinched the team win for Vassar in the match.
- Bauermeister was also impressive in singles play, easing to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the second position.
- Kubiak made his spring singles debut against the Bison and scored a 6-1, 6-4 win at the third slot.
- Jia continued a strong rookie campaign at the fourth flight for Vassar and posted a 6-1, 6-2 win.
- Santos improved to 2-0 in singles play this spring after dispatching his opponent at five by scores of 6-0, 6-2.
- At the sixth position, Sanjay Rajkumar (Olathe, KS) made his first spring singles appearance and earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
