Men's Track and Field Sets Seven New Personal Bests at West Point Tune-Up

Finnimore resets his own weight throw school record mark

West Point, NY - The Vassar College Men's Track and Field set seven new personal-bests along with junior Adam Finnimore resetting his school record mark in the weight throw at the West Point Tune-Up on Saturday.

60 Meters

Sophomore Owen Gifford posted a 17th place finish with a time of 7.39 while senior Jacob Sellitti tallied a top-30 finish with a time of 7.51.

Mile

First year Riley Magill recorded a fifth place finish with a personal-best time of 4:36.24 followed by classmate Ethan Spritzer in sixth position in a collegiate-best 4:37.32.
First year Maslen L'Esperance raced to a 11th place finish with a new PR of 4:43.97 along with classmate Jack Brilliant in 12th position in 4:46.91.

400 Meters

First year Lincoln Neiswender registered a sixth place finish with a new personal-best mark of 52.26.
Junior Josh Garraway scored a 11th place mark with a time of 54.04 followed by first year Jagger Gullov-Singh posting a season-best time of 58.23 for a top-25 finish.

1000 Meters

Neiswender earned a fifth place finish with a time of 2:43.23.

200 Meters

Gifford recorded a 16th place mark with a time of 24.04 while Sellitti crossed the finish line in 26th in 24.44.
Gullov-Singh tallied a top-35 finish with a time of 26.09.

3000 Meters

First year Grey Fearon secured a second place finish with a new PR of 9:16.14 while sophomore Zeke DeMercurio placed seventh in a career-best time of 9:58.72.

Shot Put (Open)

Finnimore scored a fourth place finish with a top mark of 12.07 meters.

Weight Throw

Finnimore reset his own school record mark with a throw of 11.72 meters to place 15th overall.

Long Jump

Gifford finished sixth overall with a top leap of 5.80 meters.
