Troy, NY - The Liberty League announced its weekly award winners for the week ending October 4 as Vassar College Women's Cross Country senior Haley Schoenegge earned her third Performer of the Week honor of the season and first year Eden Panchison collected her fourth Rookie of the Week selection.

Schoenegge won her fourth straight race of the season at the Running of the Cows Pre-Nationals Navy Championship Race to help lead the #15 Brewers to a 10th place finish out of 35 scoring teams at Carleton College. Schoenegge dominated the 6K race as she finished first overall out of 324 total finishers and turned in a time of 21:07.1, 10 seconds faster than the next closest finisher.

Last week, Schoenegge was named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week after breaking her own program record by three seconds at the RPI Fairgrounds Showdown with a time of 20:49.2, outpacing her previous best of 20:52.3, to earn a first place finish out of 168 total finishers.

Panchison turned in a 175th place finish with a time of 23:32.4 to earn her fourth straight Rookie of the Week selection as the Brewers finished in the top-10 among 18 other nationally-ranked schools at the Pre-National meet.

Vassar is off this week and will return to action on Saturday, October 17 at the Connecticut College Invitational.
