Merchant posts win at four

Carlise, PA – The Vassar College Men's Squash team continued the 2025-26 season on Saturday with an 8-1 road loss at Dickinson. First Year Aqeel Merchant (Arlington, MA) scored the Brewers' lone win at four.

Saturday's defeat drops Vassar to 2-10 overall on the season.

Merchant was victorious at the fourth slot after scoring a hard fought 12-10, 12-10, 6-11, 11-5 victory at the fourth slot.
Sophomore Matthew Okulski (Portland, ME) battled at the top position in a 6-11, 4-11, 6-11 decision.
Kyle Benson (Bronx, NY) competed for the Brewers in a tight 3-11, 3-11, 11-7, 6-11 match at the third position.
Gabriel Lugo (East Hartford, CT) battled in a 9-11, 6-11, 6-11 decision at the fifth position.
First Year Julian Cardenas-Moncada (New York, NY) also fought in a 5-11, 7-11, 8-11 defeat at the seventh position.

What's Next

Vassar plays host to Siena on January 23.
