Brewers Topped At Chatham

Brewers return to action next Sunday

Pittsburgh, PA – The Vassar College Men's Squash team was in action for the first time in the New Year on Sunday, suffering a 7-2 road loss at Chatham. The Brewers return to action next Sunday at Dickinson.
 
Sunday's loss drops Vassar to 2-9 overall while Chatham improves to 5-6 on the season.
 
For The Brewers
  • Vassar's two victories came by default at the eighth and ninth positions.
  • Konstantinos Georgallides (Limassol, Cyprus) battled in a 6-11, 5-11, 3-11 decision at the top flight.
  • First Year Aqeel Merchant (Arlington, MA) competed in a 2-11, 10-12, 9-11 decision at the third slot.
  • Kyle Benson (Bronx, NY) suffered a hard fought 6-11, 5-11, 7-11 defeat at the fourth position.
  • Razaan Lalji (West Vancouver, BC) was edge in a 4-11, 5-11, 7-11 defeat at five.
  • Julian Cardenas-Moncada (New York, NY) suffered a hard fought 12-14, 6-11, 7-11 defeat at seven.
  • Sophomore Matthew Okulski (Portland, ME) was in action at two and suffered a 1-11, 10-12, 6-11 defeat.

  • Vassar travels to Dickinson next Sunday.
  • Chatham hosts Bard on January 18.
